George Adams has been a lecturer of Japanese at Texas A&M since 2004. He holds a BA in History and English from Macalester College and a M.Ed. in Language Education from Temple University Japan. He married his wife, Kazuko, during his 14-year residence in Tokyo.  He is without doubt the best-fed faculty member in Texas A&M University.

Chiaki Johnson has been a lecturer of Japanese at Texas A&M since 2007. She is mainly teaching upper level Japanese courses.  Chiaki Johnson has taught Japanese since 2002, previously at Georgia State University and currently at Texas A&M.  She was born and grew up in Ibaraki prefecture, Japan, and moved to the U.S.A. to pursue a master’s degree in 2002.
